At Ricons, the culture of continuous learning and capacity building is regarded as a cornerstone for empowering our teams to confidently navigate challenges. In line with this spirit, our internal training programs are consistently delivered in a structured, practical, and role-specific manner. On the morning of May 24, 2025, Module 05 titled “Legal Framework for Projects & Contracts” was successfully held at the company’s headquarters in Ho Chi Minh City, as part of 2025 Finance Training Program tailored for Deputy Site Managers. The session was led by Ms. Thao Tong – Head of Legal Department – and was well-attended by participants from Ricons and its ecosystem of affiliated companies.
This module was designed to provide in-depth legal knowledge relevant to construction and execution activities. It equipped participants with a solid understanding of the legal regulations governing project implementation, construction contracts, stakeholder obligations, and strategies for identifying and mitigating legal risks on site. The training covered four core topics: (1) Updates on legal frameworks and licensing requirements for construction activities; (2) In-depth analysis of construction contracts, including key clauses on payment, variations, warranties, insurance, and acceptance procedures; (3) Case discussions involving common site issues such as unauthorized work, uncontracted scope, delayed IPC payments, and penalty clauses; and (4) Best practices in project documentation, official correspondence, and communication protocols to ensure compliance and effective contract enforcement.
Through this training, Deputy Site Managers not only reinforced their legal foundations but also enhanced their critical thinking and risk management capabilities—empowering them to make timely and informed decisions on the jobsite. This module serves as a practical toolkit, contributing to stronger leadership and more effective project execution across the Ricons system.
We extend our sincere thanks to Ms. Thao Tong and the Training Center for delivering a highly insightful, pragmatic, and impactful session for our field leadership team.
