A highlight-of-the-month training seminar titled “A human and manager at work” was held by the Department of Human Resource Management on August 13 in the morning. Mr. Nguyen Hieu, Director of Executive held a class of nearly 200 Ricons staff members from various branches of the company, namely Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, as well as from projects the length of the country.
‘Where does one start from if you want to be a manager?’ was Mr. Hieu Nguyen’s opening query. ‘Of course one must begin with oneself, the same way professional leadership begins with personal leadership’, he went on.
Mr. Hieu Nguyen – a young CEO from Generration Y, is a dynamic, energetic, and conscientious worker. Drawing from his hard-earned experience in the field, and from his inspirational personality, Mr. Nguyen Hieu’s straightforward and insightful viewpoints are a source of contemplation and heated debate for the staff.
Throughout the training, Mr. Nguyen successfully delivered the messages of ‘Management with the mind, leadership with the heart’, that one should yearn to achieve the best version of themselves and trive for the collective good. According to him, it is more important than anything to grow as a person before one could become a manager with a heart and vision, to inspire others, and lead the team to progress.
It came as no surprise that the training was remembered as a combination of knowledge and laughter, and has received positive cooperation from all staff members.
