On the evening of August 9th, Ricons was honored third-place winner under the category “Cloud Advocate of the Year” (Cloud Application Enterprise of the Year) in the 2022 ASEAN Innovation Awards, presented at the Caravelle Hotel. Autodesk, the prize sponsor, is a provider of 3D software for businesses in the design, engineering, and entertainment media industries.
The ASEAN Innovation Awards 2022 are given out annually to the best companies and organizations in the region that have excelled in the AEC sector (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction) by utilizing cutting-edge technologies like Building Information Modeling (BIM) and the most recent Autodesk AEC solutions.
In the ASEAN Innovation Awards, four categories are recognized, which are Future Pillar of the Year, Innovator of the Year, Better World Builder of the Year, and Cloud Advocate of the Year. A group of judges made up of senior Autodesk executives, academics, and industry professionals supervise the selection procedure.
This year, Ricons triumphantly beat off numerous rivals to claim its place in the Top 3 for the “Cloud Advocate of the Year” award, which recognizes businesses that apply digital and cloud technology in their end-to-end digitization projects. Its award selection entry features the use of Autodesk Revit to enhance the overall impression and implementation of BIM solutions in order to increase efficiency, meeting the goals and objectives proposed by the Becamex Office & Commercial Complex.
