In a celebratory event held on the afternoon of May 6th, 2024, at the T3 Tan Son Nhat International Airport project, a commendation ceremony took place marking the 49th anniversary of the liberation of the South and the reunification of the country. The event also kick-started a 120-day campaign to complete the steel structure of the project.
Specifically, since the initiation of the first competitive campaign in February 2024 until now, Ricons, along with its consortium of contractors, has successfully met the agreed-upon schedule alongside ACV, the investor. Currently, Ricons and its partners are accelerating the installation of electromechanical systems and completing the architectural aspects of the first and second floors. Tower cranes with a load capacity ranging from 100 to 300 tons have been deployed to facilitate the transportation of construction materials for the steel structure. Progress on the multi-level parking lot has shifted towards finalizing the architectural aspects of the two basement levels. The construction progress of the access bridge to the terminal and the expanded apron has also reached over 80% of the target schedule.
During the commendation ceremony, the Consortium Board of Contractors for package No. 12 awarded commendations to outstanding construction contractors who successfully achieved the goals of the first phase of the project.
In the second part of the ceremony, Ricons and its consortium of contractors continued by signing the agreement to launch the second phase of the 120-day campaign, titled ‘Determined to complete the main steel structure of the terminal and the multi-level parking lot’ in celebration of the upcoming National Day on September 2nd.
With the spirit of ‘Overcoming sun, conquering rain,’ Ricons and its consortium of contractors are determined to fulfill the commitments made to the investor ACV.
