On the afternoon of February 1st, 2024, Ricons, together with the Consortium of Contractors of Package No. 12, organized a Commencement Ceremony to celebrate the Lunar New Year 2024 and commemorate the 94th anniversary of the establishment of the Communist Party of Vietnam at the construction site of the T3 Passenger Terminal project at Tan Son Nhat International Airport.
Attending the ceremony were Mr. Bui Xuan Cuong, Vice Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee, the leadership of the Investor ACV, Mr. Tran Quang Quan – General Director of Ricons, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tam – Operations Director of Ricons, along with representatives of consortium contractors and over 1000 engineers and workers currently working at the construction site.
At the event, the Consortium of 6 contractors reported on the progress of the project. Accordingly, Package No. 12, which commenced on August 31, 2023, has been ongoing for 5 months. The total number of personnel currently working at the construction site is 1600, including 200 personnel from the Consortium’s management board, the team of engineers, architects of the Consortium of 6 contractors, and 1400 workers, installing 16 tower cranes, and 350 pieces of equipment.
In terms of progress, up to now, approximately 50% of the volume of the rough part of the reinforced concrete of the terminal, non-aviation service facilities, and temporary structures of the project have been completed.
Also at the ceremony, Ricons and the Consortium of contractors signed a commitment agreement to work through the Tet holiday, meet deadlines, deliver superior quality, and ensure absolute safety.
At the end of the event, Ricons and the Consortium of contractors presented Tet gifts to over 1000 workers currently working on the project to encourage and support them.
