RICONS organizes seminar on "Sharing Challenges in Taxation and Accounting for Subcontractors"

Taxes are mandatory payments that individuals and businesses are required to contribute to the state budget when participating in economic and social activities. Paying taxes is both a right and an obligation of citizens and businesses towards the state. Therefore, understanding tax regulations in order to comply with and fulfill tax obligations accurately and completely is of great importance.

On the morning of August 19, 2023, the Construction Management Department collaborated with the Finance and Accounting Department and the Human Resources Management Department to organize a seminar on the topic “Addressing Challenges in Taxation and Accounting for Subcontractors,” presented by Ms. Vu Thanh Phuong, deputy manager of the Finance and Accounting Department. The program was attended by nearly 70 directors and accountants from subcontractors currently cooperating with Ricons, with participation both offline and online.

The objective of the seminar was to help subcontractors understand:

• The tax regulations affecting business operations.
• Preventing and addressing the consequences of tax violations.
• Regulations regarding Ricons’ documentation for better coordination.

Through this specialized topic, subcontractors were undoubtedly provided with valuable information about taxes and accounting practices, enabling them to carry out their responsibilities accurately and comprehensively, particularly in interactions with Ricons.
