On the morning of November 4, 2023, Ricons organized a specialized training session on “Project Management Experience” led by Mr. Tran Van Muoi- Operations Director. The program was designed for Project Directors, Site Manager, Site deputy Manager, Department Heads, and specialists working at Ricons.
With over 20 years of project management experience in various roles, Mr. Tran Van Muoi shared practical insights into the crucial skills required for project initiation, management, and completion, with a “Big Picture” perspective.
To kick off the program, Mr. Tran Van Muoi emphasized the role of the Site manager in each project. They are the generals, the company’s brand ambassadors for each project. Site Managers need to continuously develop their management mindset, demonstrate determination in their work, and take responsibility for leading the commanding team to achieve common objectives.
Throughout his presentation, using vivid and interesting illustrative examples, Mr. Tran Van Muoi provided detailed guidance on project management skills, from the initial information acquisition phase to the implementation of initial tasks such as establishing the commanding team structure, organizing the construction workforce, organizational models, site layout, logistics, and more. Following that are skills related to equipment and material planning, importing goods, cash flow planning, and risk mitigation strategies that can occur during the construction process.
As we enter the completion and closure phase of the project, Mr. Tran Van Muoi also emphasized the importance of activities such as the inspection of fire protection systems (PCCC), equipment handover, project documentation storage, and settlement records.
Project Directors and Site Managers enthusiastically shared and discussed their practical experiences in project management and operation, contributing constructive insights to the program. Today’s workshop not only helps the management team acquire valuable and highly applicable skills for their work but also provides an opportunity for these “generals” to exchange “battlefield experiences” on the construction site.
Every meticulous effort and dedication in each “link” contributes to the success of the project, meeting the stringent requirements of the investor.
