On May 25, Ricons’ Department of Human Resources Management successfully organized a thematic training program on the issue of work safety, in cooperation with the Department of Occupational Safety (OSH), for 80 students from several national universities who are currently in apprenticeship at the firm. These include the University of Science and Technology, Ho Chi Minh City’s Architecture School and Ho Chi Minh City’s University of Technical Education.
Occupational safety is always a top priority at Ricons’ construction sites, hence the motto ‘Safety First’. As a result, the company had long planned to deliver education on this issue to all interns. Mr Le Huy, Senior HSE Executive, emphasized the necessity of building safety in front of all the students. For prospective construction engineers, these are by all means the first and most critical lessons to learn.
In the second part of the program, Mr Tran Thanh Hai, Deputy Head of Human Resource Management Department, discussed career orientation with the students, in hopes for their better judgment of the work positions provided at Ricons.
The training session drew the full interest and participation of students who work at Ricons, and it is in our deepest faith that Ricons have played a part in the future generation’s acknowledgement and awareness of occupational safety on construction sites.
