At Ricons, internal training is always prioritized and continuously strengthened to enhance the management capabilities and professional skills of our workforce. As part of the key training programs for 2024, on August 17, 2024, a specialized training session on “Schedule Management And Related Issues” was organized for Site Managers and Quantity Surveyors (QS) at Ricons’ southern construction sites.
The training session was led by Ms. Tong Thi Thu Thao, Head of Legal Department, who covered “Legal Issues in Extension of Time” and Mr. Phan Bá Vinh, Head of Internal Control Systems Department, who presented on “Internal Procedures for Extension of Time”.The program not only focused on legal regulations and EOT (Extension of Time) procedures but also clarified internal processes, helping to minimize risks and improve schedule management. During the training, Ms. Tong Thi Thu Thao also presented specific case studies that may arise and provided guidance on how to prevent and resolve such issues.
The goal of the course was to equip Site Managers and QS with the necessary skills to promptly address issues related to time extensions, thereby establishing an effective and sustainable schedule management process. Mastering these processes and legal aspects not only helps mitigate legal risks but also facilitates the timely execution of projects, reduces disputes, and protects the company’s interests.
Through this training program, the Site Managers and QS teams enhanced their professional knowledge and had the opportunity to exchange experiences between sites as well as with the Legal Department and Internal Control Systems Department Department. Next time, this training topic will be continued for Site Managers and QS teams in the northern and central regions.
