As part of our ongoing community outreach initiatives, on the morning of July 4, 2026, Ricons held a handover ceremony for a Great Unity House built for a disadvantaged family in Nha Bich Commune, Dong Nai Province.

The beneficiary, Ms. Lam Thi Son, born in 1971, is a member of the Khmer ethnic community and has faced particularly difficult circumstances. Following the passing of her husband, she has raised and cared for her two children on her own. Her elder child is in poor health and unable to maintain stable employment, while her younger child is currently in seventh grade. With no agricultural land, the family relies primarily on seasonal work for income, leaving them with limited financial resources.
Previously, Ms. Son and her two children lived in a charity house constructed in 2001 under Programme 134. After more than 20 years of use, many parts of the house had severely deteriorated. The old corrugated metal roof had become rusted and damaged, frequently leaking during heavy rain and no longer providing safe and adequate living conditions, particularly during the rainy and storm season.
Driven by our commitment to social responsibility and community care, Ricons joined SOL E&C in supporting the construction of a new home for Ms. Son’s family, helping them gradually achieve greater stability in their daily lives. The newly completed house is spacious, structurally sound and equipped to meet the family’s essential living needs, providing them with greater safety and long-term peace of mind.

At the handover ceremony, the family’s joy was evident as they received the keys to their new home. The support has significantly improved their living conditions while providing valuable encouragement and renewed motivation to overcome hardship and move towards a brighter future.

The Great Unity House programme further reflects Ricons’ responsibility and continued engagement in community and social initiatives. Through these meaningful efforts, we aim to promote the spirit of compassion and mutual support while creating positive, lasting value throughout our journey towards sustainable development.
