At the end of October, Ricons donated 550 million VND to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Yen Bai Province to support the community in overcoming the aftermath of Typhoon Yagi.
Typhoon Yagi has caused severe damage across northern provinces, with Yen Bai being among the most heavily affected areas. This natural disaster led to significant losses in both lives and property, drastically impacting the lives of local residents.
The donation, contributed by over 800 Ricons employees, will be used to build new classrooms for Khanh Hoa Primary and Secondary School in Khanh Hoa Commune, Luc Yen District, Yen Bai Province.
Ricons believes that education is the foundation for community recovery and rebuilding. This initiative also aligns with Ricons’ commitment to sustainable development and reflects its social responsibility in line with ESG standards, working towards a brighter future for the community.
Through this support, Ricons aims to help alleviate some of the challenges faced by people of Yen Bai, providing students with a safer and more modern learning environment. This assistance is expected to bring about positive changes and help local residents restore stability in their lives.
