On December 3, 2024, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh conducted an on-site inspection and urged progress on the Long Thanh International Airport project. Accompanying the Prime Minister were Deputy Prime Ministers Tran Hong Ha and Ho Duc Phoc, Minister of Transport Tran Hong Minh and leaders from various ministries, sectors, and local authorities.
This marked the fifth time the Prime Minister has visited the project site to directly oversee and guide its implementation. During the visit, he presented gifts and extended his encouragement to the dedicated team of officers, engineers, and workers who have been working tirelessly on the site.
The Prime Minister called on the consortium of contractors to maintain a high level of commitment, working “three shifts a day, four teams around the clock”, “overcoming challenges posed by weather and other obstacles”. He also urged a proactive spirit of “work before rest, act without delay, focus on solutions” while emphasizing the importance of ensuring construction quality, adhering to technical and aesthetic standards, and upholding labor safety and environmental protection.
With unwavering dedication and a relentless work ethic, Ricons’ project management team, in collaboration with the Vietur consortium, has been closely monitoring progress, ensuring the implementation aligns with the directives and vision set forth by the Prime Minister for this national landmark project.
